Today the first deluxe train "Ingushetia" left Nazran for Moscow. It is a joint project of the Ingush government and Russian Railways. It set out on its journey in the presence of the head of Ingushetia and the president of Russian Railways.

Vladimir Yakunin promised that the first ten couples of newly-weds will receive a free return trip from Nazran to Moscow. The trip from Nazran to Moscow on the train takes 36 hours. With the introduction of the summer schedule the train ride will amount to only 30 hours.

The train from Moscow to Nazran became the first Russian rail project implemented with the active participation of a region, in this case – of the Republic of Ingushetia. If the project proves to be effective it will become a model for all other regions in the country.
Yakunin stressed the importance of the new train for the image of Ingushetia and expressed his hope that it will attract more tourists to the region.
