Russian leader congratulates Georgian patriarch

Georgian Patriarch Ilia II has received a note of Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulating him on the 35th anniversary of being a patriarch and the 80th birthday.

Putin expressed hope that the spiritual, cultural and humanitarian dialogue would become a reliable basis for further development of relations of Russia and Georgia.
