Georgia restores monument of Stalin

The bust of Stalin has been restored at Akura in the Telavi District of the Kakheti Region in the eastern part of Georgia, News Georgia reports.

The monument was secretly taken down in 2010 and stored by Badri Gogiashvili.

It has been the second monument of Stalin restored in Georgia after the parliamentary elections won by Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili on October 1, 2012.

The first monument of Stalin was restored in Zemo Alvani in the Ahmetsky District. A monument is expected to be built in Gori using donations of a local inhabitants.
