Police officers attacked in Dagestan

Police officers were attacked in the Dagestani town of Kaspiysk today, RIA Novosti cites a source in the republic's law-enforcement agencies as saying.

A 40-year old man opened fire at police officers when they asked him to show his passport. The attacker was killed as a result of the incident.
