Work nearing completion on Sochi’s Big Ice Rink

Sochi has almost completed the main part of the Winter Olympics 2014 facility Big Ice Rink, Yuga.ru reports.

A year has passed since the start of construction. Work is currently concentrated on constructing the bearing ring for the dome, the press-service of Olimpstroy said.

The construction for the dome fixing has almost been completed. The first shipments of iron constructions have arrived at the construction site. Two 100-tons cranes were prepared for the assembling.
