Meat worth 22.5 million rubles stolen at Chechen soldiers’ canteen

13 tons of meat worth 22.5 million rubles were stolen from a military base in Shali (Chechnya), RIA Novosti reports.

Investigators suspect that the meat was stolen by canteen supervisor Niyaz Zadegan. He was in charge from February 14 to July 31, 2011. He may get up to 10 years of prison.
