Norway warns Armenia against flights to Nagorno-Karabakh

Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide recommended Armenia to avoid civil flights to Nagorno-Karabakh, Turan reports.

Eide met his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku. The latter emphasized that opening an airport in Khojaly would violate the ICAO Chicago Convention.

Mammadyarov met the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group in Paris on January 28 and discussed the conflict with Armenia. Russia, the USA and France may discuss the problem with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian in Paris.
