Militant sentenced to 16 years in prison in Dagestan

A member of the Villayat Dagestan militant group was sentenced to 16 years of imprisonment on charges of terrorism, the Russian prosecutor general's office said in a statement.

Magomed Baydiyev was found guilty of launching two terrorist attacks that killed one police officer and left 52 more wounded.
