Iraqi army storms Al-Qaeda base on Syrian border

The army of Iraq is currently conducting a special operation on the border with Syria. The purpose of the operation is the destruction of Al-Qaeda bases involved in the transfer of militants and weapons from Syrian territory. At least 10 militants were killed and seven captured, RIA Novosti reports.
