Recorder of Georgian prison tortures arrested
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaVladimir Bedukadze, recorder of tortures at the Gldani Prison N8, has been arrested at the Tbilisi International Airport. He plans to demonstrate unpublished videos.
His records may put more pressure on President Mikheil Saakashvili’s functionaries.
Videos of the tortures were published in mid-September. They are believed to be the cause of falling popularity of the United National Movement and victory of Bidzina Ivanishvili’s Georgian Dream coalition at the parliamentary polls.
