Blast at Armenian chemical factory

22-year-old Ara Asatryan died in a blast at the ammonia section hit by a blast at the Armenian chemical factory of Vanadzor in the Lori Region this morning, News.am reports.

The chemical factory, chemical fiber factory and the thermal power plant of Vanadzor are all part of the Prometey-Khimprom company. It was reopened in 2005. The chemical factory is owned by Roding Limited International (Russia), registered in the UK.
