Iran praises Russia for attitude towards nuclear program

Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev has visited Iran and met his Iranian counterpart Muhammad Najar. They discussed international terrorism and drug controls.

Najar thanked Russia for supporting the right of Iran for peaceful nuclear energy, despite western sanctions.

Kolokoltsev noted the need for strengthening the legislative basis of relations between the two states, because they have common challenges. Cooperation of Russia and Iran is essential to cope with the problems.
