Aushev becomes Ingush Minister for Finances

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has appointed Magomed-Bashir Aushev the new Minister of Finances, RIA Novosti reports.

Aushev was born in Grozny on July 10, 1968. He graduated at the Grozny Oil Institute in 1992, left post-graduate studies at the Russian Presidential Academy of State Service in 1996. He became the Ingush Minister for Finances in 1998 and Deputy Speaker of Parliament in January 2001-2002.

The previous Finances Minister Murat Malsagov was dismissed on January 16 due to violations of the grant program of young families.
