Iranian workers hold protest rally in Tehran

Today workers from the Iranian provinces of Khuzestan and Khorasan Razavi gathered in front of the country's parliament to protest against their salaries being delayed for about 10 months.

Police were present at the scene, however no one was  arrested, as the protest was peaceful.

A member of the parliament's Labor faction, Alireza Mahjoub, said that the issue of salary payment delays was submitted to the court, and the parliament is currently discussing it.
