Dagestan Muslims condemn the murder of Evangelical church bishop

The Muslim Religious Convention of Dagestan has condemned the murder of the bishop of the Evangelical "Hosanna" church , Artur Suleymanov, RIA-Novosti reports.

Unidentified perpetrators shot Suleymanov on Thursday in 19.00 on Beybulatova Street in Makhachkala. The bishop was hospitalized, but died of his injuries.

"We had no contact with the "Hosanna" church, but they were as free to operate in Dagestan as the Pentecostalists or Jehovah's Witnesses religious movements", declared a spokesman for the Muslim Religious Convention.
