Protests at Ismailli District of Azerbaijan end

Protests at the Ismailli District of Azerbaijan (174km north-east of Baku) have ended, Trend cites Raphael Ahmedov, deputy head of the district executives.

Three people, including Shamseddinov Emil Magerram ogly, the Chirag Hotel administrator, born in 1982, were injured during the protests.

The public outrage was provoked by Shamseddinov’s drunken driving. He insulted the locals who saw his crash into a lamp-post.

Three vehicles were burned during the protests at night. A criminal case was initiated.
