“I have talked to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mamedyarov, highlighting that opening the border is not possible for the moment, and let no one expect this”, said Davudoglu. It was stated earlier that Turkey may partly and temporarily open the Turkish-Armenian border from the 11th to 17th of September 2010, as part of NATO military training in Armenia.
