Over 600 Uzbek carriages cannot enter Kyrgyzstan

Over 600 train carriages from Uzbekistan, including 80 with fuel, cannot enter Kyrgyzstan. It may ruin heating for the country in the south in February, RIA Novosti reports.

Uzbek natives of Sokh attacked Kyrgyz border guards in the Batkenskaya Region of Kyrgyzstan in early January. About 30 Kyrgyz people were taken hostage. Uzbekistan responded by closing railway checkpoints at the Kyrgyz border.
