Economic cooperation with Russia has to be restored without any political compromise, Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili participating in the World Economic Forum said in Davos on Thursday, Trend reports.

He said Georgia has to resume economic relations with Russian companies as this would present great opportunities for the country's economy.

"This is necessary in order to raise the employment level in our country. Interesting meetings are planned, including with Russian companies," Kvirikashvili said.

He said Georgia will host a Georgian-Russian business forum in the next two months.
