Azerbaijan Airlines sells three ATR aircraft

 

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has sold three of its six ATR aircraft, the company told Trend today.
Earlier, the company ordered four new E-190 aircraft from Brazilian company Embraer SA. The total order value is $180.8 million. The company also plans to lease two used Embraer E-170 aircraft. Azerbaijan expects to receive delivery of the Embraer aircraft in the second half of the year. These will be used for domestic and medium-haul international flights.
