Georgian patriarch praises Russia visit

Georgian Patriarch Ilia II has called his recent visit to Russia a successful and historic one. During his visit the patriarch met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Patriarch Kirill.

Patriarch Ilia brought a message from  Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to Vladimir Putin.

"This visit was very successful. I believe it was a historic event," the Georgian patriarch said.
