Iran denies explosion at Fordu

Seyed Shamseddin Barbrudi, deputy head of the Iranian Organization for Atomic Energy, has denied reports about a blast at the Fordu nuclear facility, IRNA reports.

The blast happened at the uranium enrichment facility of Fordu on Saturday. It destroyed most of the underground infrastructure and left 240 workers buried underground at a depth of 90m.
