Iran paid US $109 million in 2012

US sanctions could not stop Iran from buying products worth $109 million in the US in 2012, exceeding the sums of purchases in 2011 by 37.8%.

The UAE, China, Turkey, South Korea and Switzerland exported 60% of Iran’s total imports. Iran’s imports from Panama dropped 30-fold, from Sweden 4-fold.
