Criminal case initiated over excess of power by Kuban police officer

A criminal case has been initiated against a police officer who shot at a civilian vehicle, RIA Novosti reports.

The police officer, serving at the police station of the Apsheron District, had a conflict with a 25-year-old local in late 2012. The police officer was on duty on November 6. He met the man he had the conflict with. After an argument, the man drove off, provoking the officer to shoot at the car.
