Ministry for Emergencies to secure NCFD

Russian Minister for Emergencies Vladimir Puchkov attended an All-Russian meeting for warning and prevention of emergency situations and urged his staff to be more attentive to security at resorts of the North Caucasus.

The official noted that the North Caucasian Federal District needs a dog service and special mounted rescuers to operate in highlands of Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia and other areas.

Puchkov wants to organize the North Caucasian Soldierly Rescue Formation at the Kavkazskiye Mineralniye Vody to carry out any rescue operations and put out fires.
