Former investigator fined in Stavropol

Former investigator of the police station of the Neftekumsky District Olga Lesnova has been fined with 1.5 million rubles in the Stavropol Territory and restricted certain jobs for 3 years, ITAR-TASS reports.
She received a bribe of 55,000 rubles and two geese worth 500 rubles for releasing a woman’s son suspected of theft in August 2011.
The investigator was sentenced for receiving 10,000 rubles from another woman in exchange for letting her son stay free, despite suspicions of theft.
