Iran is already a nuclear state - Ahmadinejad

Iran is already a nuclear state and the world should respect the country, the Islamic Republic's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Al-Ahram in Egypt.

The Iranian president also said  hat Iran is not going to start a war with Israel. The Iranian army is only concerned about defending the country's territory.

Iranian military capacities are purely defensive, Ahmadinejad said.
