Syrian opposition to open office in US
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSyrian opposition coalition may soon open offices in Washington and New York, Washington Times reports on Thursday.
The office in Washington will make preparations for the visit of opposition leader Ahmad Muaz Alkhateeb, the New York office will make contacts with the UNSC.
The office in Washington will be supervised by a real estate trader from Texas Ubab Halil, the New York office will be supervised by a teacher of political analysis of the Arkansas University Najib Kadbian.
The National Coalition of Syrian opposition was formed in Doha on November 11, 2012. The organization says that it represents the Syrian people and demanded the international society to provide weapons and finances to fight President Bashar al-Assad. The US, leading EU states and many Arab states recognize the organization.
