Stalin’s bust vandalized in Georgia

A bust of Joseph Stalin in Georgia’s Kakheti was vandalized at Akura last night. It was taken of the pedestal and covered in pink paint.

Locals suspect extremists of President Mikheil Saakashvili’s United National Movement of committing the act.

A similar case had happened at Zemo Alvani in the Akhmetsky District of Kakheti in January 2013.
