 A turnkey city

Building and renovation works have now been completed in Gudermes, the second biggest city in the Chechen Republic. 57 municipal buildings were renovated and 25 new high-rise residential blocks built. 70 km of new roads were constructed and a new sewage network installed.
 
Abkhazian-Chechen collaboration

The Chechen Republic and Abkhazia have signed a protocol of intentions. The protocol aims to
extend the sphere of Abkhazian-Chechen collaboration. Cooperation will take place in trade and finance, agriculture, sports, culture and education.

Budget inspection
President Ramzan Kadyrov ordered the Chamber of Accounts of the Chechen Republic to start a budget inspection. "We must know how every rouble is spent", the President said.

Korean investment
A new plant producing prefabricated building materials is being built in Grozny. Its main investor is the Korean company "Han Chen Con". A corresponding contract was signed in 2009.

Production increases
According to a goal-oriented program, recently adopted by the Chechen Government, the production of sugar is going to be increased due to modernization of production techniques, planned total sugar production in Chechnya will be 22.6 thousand tons.

Industrial development
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation has developed a new program for the industrial development of the Chechen Republic. A program of power system development has also recently been adopted.
