Iran to develop gas production

Iran will not only increase natural gas production, but also
continually improve the efficiency of processing and refining
businesses, the managing director of the Gas Engineering and
Development Company Alireza Gharibi said.

He said that Iran has carried out 10 projects in order to increase the
production of gas and expand the infrastructure of processing plants
across the country, Mehr reports. Garibi said that, after the
commissioning of the Ilam and Hasheminebad gas processing plants, gas

production has increased by 16 million cubic meters a day.

At the end of last year, Iranian Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi said that

Iran has the capacity to produce 4 million barrels of oil and 600
million cubic meters of gas per day, Trend reports.
