Azerbaijani President chairs meeting on economic development of regions

Today Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev chaired a meeting devoted to the results of the 4th year of implementation of the state programme for social  and economic development of the regions at the Baku Business Center, Trend reports.

The president was informed that Azerbaijani Gross Domestic Product tripled in 2003-2012, while the average monthly wage increased 500%.

The president was also told that the country`s currency reserves grew 2800% during this period, amounting to $46 billion.
