Former deputy minister for construction killed in Ingushetia

Sultangirey Khashagulgov, former Deputy Minister for Construction of Ingushetia and brother of suspected militant Isa Khashagulgov, has been killed on the Street of Khautiyev in Nazran this morning for resisting arrest, Interfax reports.

An officer was wounded during the operation.

Isa Khashagulgov is suspected of involvement in the Vladikavkaz market blast of September 9, 2010, and ties with Doku Umarov.

19 people were killed and over 200 injured in the market blast.
