At least three officers killed by blast in Dagestan’s Khasavyurt

At least three police officers from the Vologda Region were killed, six were injured and one went missing after a blast at the checkpoint in Khasavyurt (Dagestan) at about 5.00 am, RIA Dagestan reports.

The blast was caused by a suicide-bomber who drove up to them. A crater 1.5 meters deep with a diameter of 4 meters was found.

The police officers prevented the terrorist from entering the city.
