Retired officers arrested in Turkey

Major-General Ayhan Jansever, Brigadier-Generals Refic Zeytinci and Metin Yasar Yukselen and Colonel Jengiz Kosal involved in the “post-modern” coup attempt of February 28, 1997, have been arrested today.

Arrests of officers and some journalists have been ongoing in Turkey since April 2012. 11 officers were jailed in May 2012.
