Ballot eaten at polling station in Yerevan

Artur Minasyan started shouting out political slogans and demanded freedom of Tigran Arakelyan at a polling station in the Nor-Nork District of Yerevan today. He ate his ballot where he had written “No to falsified elections”.

Arakelyan was arrested in August 2011 for clashes with the police and sentenced to six years of prison. He is a member of the Armenian National Congress coalition.
