Head of Azerbaijani State Academy of Management passes away

The head of the Armenian State Academy of Management of the president, Seyfaddin Gandilov, passed away on Tuesday.

A doctor of historic sciences, Professor Seyfaddin Mirtagi oglu Gandilov graduated from the State University of Baku in 1953. In 1953-1956 he carried out post-graduate studies; in 1967 he defended his doctorate.

His studies led to the publication of approximately 400 articles and a set of scientific works.

Gandilov was participating in the process of improving higher education in the country. He headed a working group in 1995 at the Ministry of Education, aimed at improving education. In 1997 an expert group set the standards for courses and specializations of humanitarian sciences.

In February 1999 Gandilov started heading the State Academy of Management.
