Ingush leader resignation not discussed - source

Information that the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, will soon resign or be fired, is false, RIA Novosti cites a source in the Kremlin as saying.

The Russian newspaper RBC Daily reported earlier that the possible resignation of Yevkurov is being discussed in the Kremlin.

Similar reports appeared before the resignation of the Dagestani leader, Magomedsalam Magomedov. Official sources denied the information, but Magomedov resigned anyway.
