Azerbaijan to open three consulates in Iran

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran Javanshir Akhundov said at a meeting with members of the Trade and Industry Chamber of Mazandaran that Azerbaijan will open consulates in the provinces of Mashkhad, Gilan and Mazandaran, APA reports.

A consulate in Tabriz was playing an important role in developing relations. The ambassador recommended the Azerbaijani-Iranian joint economic commission to meet in April 2013 to boost economic developments.
