Abkhazia, South Ossetia sign cooperation treaties with Nicaragua

Several documents on bilateral cooperation with Nicaragua have been signed by the presidents of South Ossetia and Abkhazia- Eduard Kokoity - Sergei Bagapsh. The deals mean Nicaragua is the first country apart from Russia to conclude international agreements with the republics. The agreements provide for scientific exchange, cooperation in combating organized crime, terrorism and drug trafficking, and economic cooperation. The sides have also implemented a visa-free regime for periods of less than 90 days.
