Turkic states recognize Mehriban Aliyeva as Woman of the Year

Social polls of the Common Values NGO and the Turkestan paper say that Azerbaijan’s first lady Mehriban Aliyeva became Woman of the Year for supporting Turkic culture, 1news.az reports.

37,525 people from Turkic states were questioned on November 12, 2012, - February 17, 2013, about service for Turkish world in 2012.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan became the Best Politician of the Turkic World, followed by Kyrgyz ex-President Rosa Otunbayeva.

Professor Turan Yazgin, President of the Foundation for Research of the Turkic World, was awarded for education achievements.
