Blast near Russian Embassy in Damascus

A blast has happened at the Sabaa-Bahrat Square next to the Ba’as Party office, not far from the Russian Embassy in Damascus today. All windows of the Russian Embassy have been broken, Reuters reports.

Shooting followed the blast. Dozens of vehicles have been burned.

Syrian media report numerous victims.
