Ben Affleck’s “Argo” gets Oscar

Ben Affleck’s “Argo” about the Islamic Revolution of Iran of 1979 has received an Oscar, awarded by Barack Obama’s wife Michelle. The film got 50 awards, including two of the BAFTA and the Golden Globe.

Michael Haneke’s “Amour”, Quentin Tarantino’s “Django Unchained”, Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln”, Catherine Bigelow’s “Zero Dark Thirty”, Eng Lee’s “Life of Pi”, David Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook”, Behn Zeitlin’s “Beats of the Southern Wind”, Tom Hooper’s “les Miserables” were also nominated.
