North Caucasus military test GLONASS

Over 1,000 military officials have tested the GLONASS communication system, the Southern military District reports.

Brigades in Dagestan and Chechnya are undergoing training to use tactical, engineering and mine-sweeping skills.

Special attention is paid to using the Strelets communication complex with GLONASS navigation during recon missions.

Scouts will demonstrate their skills during the drills in early March.
