Kazakhstan bans Tabligi Jamaat as extremist organisation

The authorities of Kazakhstan have banned the Tabligi Jamaat organization as an extremist body, the country's prosecutor general's office reports on its official website.

"On February 26, 2013, Astana District Court honoured a request by the prosecutor's office to consider the Tabligi Jamaat organization to be an extremist body," the statement says.
