Azerbaijan to expand to Asian markets

Azerbaijan plans to focus on expansion to the Asian market, especially that of Japan, Minister for Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said.

The minister noted that 80% of Azerbaijani exports were petroleum. It wants to increase exports of non-petroleum products. The special program for non-petroleum development until 2020 plans to doubt the GDP via information technologies.
