Heavy rains in Turkey lead to floods and victims

Heavy rain in the Khurasan district of Erzurum region has resulted in victims. According to preliminary information, floods and mud flows killed 5 people, 1 person is missing. The River Sachlyk burst its banks, killing a couple, Juneyt and Makhide Kodjabash, and 3 other people, TRT reports.

The head of the administration in Khurasan, Makhmut Agbal, said that crop fields and houses were submerged in Oglu county. The Erzurum-Mush highway was closed.
