Russia's chief sanitary inspector Gennady Onishchenko has examined Georgian wine- and mineral water-producing enterprises.

"I'm optimistic. There are some problems, but they are not crucial," Onishchenko said.

Russia banned Georgian imports during the 2008 war. The Ivanishvili administration is now trying to pursue Russia to lift the ban.
