Alasania: Armenia will not allow usinge Russian military base in Gyumri against Georgia

At a joint press conference of the Ministers of Defense of Georgia and Armenia, Irakliy Alasania and Seyran Ohanyan, following a meeting which took place earlier it was stated that Armenia will not allow to use the Russian military base on its territory to attack Georgia, News Armenia reports.

The 102nd Russian military base is deployed in Gyumri, in the northern part of Armenia. It is used as part of the united air defense system of the CIS. The base is equipped with S-300 and MiG-29 and is inhabited by 4.5 thousand people.
