Iran to build radar systems

Brigadier General Farzad Ismaili, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya missile base of Iran, said that Iran will build new radar systems.

He noted that air defense facilities had acquired Qader, Mersad, Ya Zahra 3, Misaq 2 and S-200 missiles in March 2012 – March 2013.

Samen, Shahab and Matla radar systems were launched. The general expressed hope to launch the Arash radar, space radar Sepehr the next year (March 21, 2013, - March 20, 2014).
